Aad van Moorsel's topic of main interest is managing large-scale systems, which he is currently researching as a
Reader in distributed systems at University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Previously, Aad worked as a research manager for Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Palo Alto, California, and as
a researcher for Lucent Bell Labs Research in Murray Hill, New Jersey, both in the United States.
Aad was a postdoctoral researcher for two years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, after he got
his PhD from University of Twente in The Netherlands in 1993.
